Widely regarded as one of the world's leading exponents of the baritone for over 30 years Steven has worked and studied with some of the best musicians, as well as having performed with some of the top brass bands in the world.
As a baritone soloist Steven has appeared all over the world and has won numerous solo titles, including winning the New Zealand National Baritone Championship a record breaking 12 times. He was also the first Baritone Horn player ever to have appeared as a soloist with a full professional orchestra, as well as being the first British Civilian soloist ever to appear at the Nova Scotia International Military Tattoo in 1996.
